Our quick test is to place a 2″ x 4″ board on the ground where your door touches after it closes. If your garage door is operating normally, it will reverse within 2 seconds of hitting the board after you attempt to close it. If your door doesn’t reverse as normal, contact us to have a professional technician come out and fully diagnose the problem.
We recommend repeating this process every 3 months to be safe.
